The American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collections include digitized images of the pages of American magazines and journals from the American Antiquarian Society, the premier library documenting the life of America s people from the Colonial Era through the Civil War and Reconstruction.

AMERICAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY JOURNALS

This is a resource provided compliments of the American Physical Society on 5/19/11. It can only be used on campus. The journals in this database are upper level physics journals and are available at the request of Mount View High School science teachers.

This complete, multi-subject video solution offers one-stop shopping for students, librarians, and teachers. There is a wealth of material appropriate for basic through AP courses and research. The Churchill Archive for Schools provides an expanding range of classroom-ready resources specially written and developed by leading history educators to support the teaching of History at secondary level. Each investigation contains six to eight documents from the Churchill Archive, together with background information, to help students interpret the sources, and to understand and answer the investigation. NewsBank provides a comprehensive collection of reliable news sources covering a wide array of topics and issues. There are two newspaper databases included. Access World News provides access to several thousand newspapers from around the world for current topics in the news. America's Historical Newspapers, 1690 - 2000 provides scanned images of newspapers from the years 1690-2000. It is an excellent primary source for historical events in America.

Salem Press Resources

The library currently owns 69 Salem Press reference resources in print. The links below provide access to those reference books in electronic format. Coverage includes many reference works in Literature, History, Health, Science, and Careers. The database can be searched as a single resource, or within a subject category, or within an individual title. See the librarian for an introduction and help using Salem Press titles.
