NewsBank provides a comprehensive collection of reliable news sources covering a wide array of topics and issues. There are two newspaper databases included. Access World News provides access to several thousand newspapers from around the world for current topics in the news. America's Historical Newspapers, 1690 - 2000 provides scanned images of newspapers from the years 1690-2000. It is an excellent primary source for historical events in America.

The library currently owns 69 Salem Press reference resources in print. The links below provide access to those reference books in electronic format. Coverage includes many reference works in Literature, History, Health, Science, and Careers. The database can be searched as a single resource, or within a subject category, or within an individual title. See the librarian for an introduction and help using Salem Press titles. All of the titles can be viewed and searched by clicking on the On Campus link below. If you are Off Campus you will need a password to use the database. See the librarian to get the password.
