Welcome to Mercy's McAuley Academic Center

Mercy’s McAuley Academic Center (MAC) is a multi-faceted learning hub of the school.  It offers a quiet environment for homework and group study, a Collaborative Corner and a Silent Study room.  It serves as a resource center for research and provides instruction on information skills.  A wide variety of print and electronic resources support Mercy’s college preparatory curriculum and offer a selection of books for pleasure reading. Electronic resources include eBooks, digital subscriptions and educational databases that create a virtual library accessible both in and out of school.  Instruction is aligned with the Mercy Education Profile of the Graduate: Educational Courage, Inspired by Faith, Compelled by Mercy, Principled Leadership and a Voice for Dignity and Respect.

The MAC shares its space with the Mercy's Academic Mentoring and Education Support Team (AMES) including AMES Testing Space and Learning Center.

The MAC staff, Mrs. Kreucher and Mrs. Waineo, are both state certified staff librarians who bring a diverse background of previous employment in the business world with them.  The MAC staff is complimented by Mr. James, Mercy’s IT Director.
